Connect Autroid to Claude and ChatGPT

Ask an AI assistant about your business and get answers from your live Autroid records: leads, bookings, jobs, sales, stock, accounts, GST and staff.

Before you start

  • An Autroid account. The business owner can connect straight away; other staff need the "Connect AI assistants" permission on their role.
  • A Claude or ChatGPT account that allows connectors.

Connect Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Browse connectors.
  2. Search for Autroid and select Connect.
  3. Sign in to Autroid with your phone number and password.
  4. Choose the business, or the group of branches, the assistant may use, and select Allow.

Connect ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open the Apps directory and search for Autroid.
  2. Select Connect, then sign in to Autroid with your phone number and password.
  3. Choose the business or group, and select Allow.

If your assistant asks for a server address instead, use https://api-prod.autroid.com/api/v3/intelligence/mcp.

What you can ask

  • "How does my lead pipeline look this month?"
  • "Which customers owe us money?"
  • "Summarise this month's revenue against last month."
  • "Which items are below their reorder level?"
  • "Show me attendance for this week."
  • "Who are our top ten customers this year?"

What the assistant can and cannot do

  • It sees only what your own Autroid role allows, and only for the business or group you chose.
  • It only reads your records. It cannot add, change or delete anything, take payments, issue refunds or change prices.
  • Every request is recorded and shown in Autroid.

Remove a connection

Open Settings → Integrations → Autroid MCP in Autroid and remove it. It stops working at its next request. You can also disconnect from inside Claude or ChatGPT.
