Inventory · Warehouses
All your locations. One stock truth.
Separate stock ledgers per branch, main store or van — with a consolidated view that updates in real time. No phone calls to check if Andheri has that brake pad in stock.
How Multi-Warehouse Management Works
Every location stocked correctly — without a warehouse manager at each one.
Autroid gives each location its own stock account while keeping everything visible in a single dashboard.
Set up warehouses and locations
Create a warehouse record for each physical location — main store, branch workshops, mobile service vans. Each gets its own stock ledger, reorder rules and default vendor assignments.
Stock moves in per location via GRN
Purchase orders and GRNs are raised against a specific warehouse. Stock credits to that location's ledger. The consolidated view updates immediately — no sync delay.
Job cards consume from the assigned warehouse
When a job card is raised at a branch, parts are consumed from that branch's stock. If an item is unavailable, the system shows the nearest location that has it.
Inter-branch transfers with full audit trail
Move stock from one location to another using a transfer request flow — sender marks dispatch, receiver confirms receipt. Both ledgers update atomically. Every transfer is traceable.
Every warehouse capability you need — without the complexity.
Run a tight multi-location operation without needing a dedicated WMS or a warehouse coordinator at every branch.
Per-location stock ledger
Each branch and van has an isolated stock account. Local managers see only their location's stock by default; head office sees all locations in one consolidated view.
Tracked inter-branch transfers
Full transfer workflow with dispatch confirmation, transit tracking and receipt acknowledgement. Stock leaves one ledger only when the other location confirms receipt.
Warehouse-level reorder rules
Set different reorder levels per SKU per warehouse — your main store might keep 50 brake pads but each branch only needs 10. Reorder alerts fire per location, not globally.
Consolidated multi-location reporting
Roll up stock value, movement and availability across all warehouses in one report. See which location is overstocked and which is under — then rebalance without guessing.
Stock availability lookup across branches
Technicians can check live stock at every branch from their mobile. If the local warehouse is out, they instantly see the nearest location that has the part — no phone calls needed.
AI that rebalances your stock before you run short.
Autroid's warehouse AI analyses consumption patterns per location and proactively flags imbalances — so you transfer stock between branches before a job is delayed.
Cross-location stock imbalance detection
Detects when one branch has excess stock of an item while another is running low — and suggests an inter-branch transfer as an alternative to raising a new PO, saving procurement cost.
Demand pattern per location
Recognises that your highway branch uses 3× more tyre-related consumables than your city branch, and adjusts reorder suggestions per warehouse based on location-specific demand.
Van restocking recommendations
For mobile service vans, Autroid looks at the next week's job schedule and recommends a restocking list for each van before it leaves the main workshop — no manual inventory count on the van.
Measured Impact
What multi-warehouse visibility delivers.
Outcomes from Autroid customers operating 3–12 service locations.
Down from 40+ minutes of phone calls and WhatsApp messages. Technicians find the nearest available stock in seconds on mobile.
AI-driven transfer recommendations and per-location reorder rules prevent branch-level stockouts even when the main store is well-stocked.
Every movement is recorded in real time. Branch managers stop doing manual counts to reconcile with the head office — the system is always current.
